Questions moms ask about using AI
What are ChatGPT and Claude, and do they cost anything?
ChatGPT, made by OpenAI, and Claude, made by Anthropic, are AI assistants you chat with by typing into a message box, much like texting. Both have free plans that work beautifully with your friends, and you can use either one on a computer at chatgpt.com or claude.ai, or with its app on your phone.
Should I use ChatGPT or Claude?
Whichever one you already use is the right choice. If you're new to both, either one works beautifully, and your friend's instructions work the same way in each.
I'm not very techy. Will I be able to do this?
Absolutely, because your guide walks you through every click with plain, friendly instructions, and the whole setup comes down to copying and pasting. If you can send a text message, you have every skill you need.
Will she remember my family?
She will, with one small step from you. In your first chat she asks a few questions about your family and writes up a short set of notes. You'll paste those notes into her instructions one time, so she knows your people every time you come back to her.
Can I set up all five friends on a free plan?
You can in either app. ChatGPT's free plan lets you create as many projects as you like, and Claude's free plan holds up to five, which is room for the whole circle.
Will there be new friends?
Yes, and the first two are already on the way. Eloise, your house manager, and Abigail, your Bible study leader, are coming next, and moms who read the Sunday Note get the first look and help choose who comes after them.
Will she message me with reminders?
Your friends answer whenever you reach out, though they won't message you first. Many moms set aside a few quiet minutes on Sunday to check in about the week ahead, and the friends are designed to start each visit by sharing what's coming up.
Is my family's information private?
Your conversations live in your own ChatGPT or Claude account, and we never see them. Your guide also includes a few simple tips on what to keep out of any chat, like account numbers and passwords.
